The College Democrats Society at The Citadel

The CDS is the student wing of the Democratic Party at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, located in Charleston South Carolina. We serve as a mighty bastion dedicated to promoting liberal values on the traditionally conservative campus.

No group has more passion or greater perseverance as we work tirelessly to advocate for social justice and civic engagement, organizing events and fostering dialogue. We invite everyone to join the already 50+ active cadets/students as we endeavor to build the ground floor for a new and brighter Carolina.

Who Is A Bulldog Democrat?

Anyone who keeps the founding values of our republic and of a greater world in their hearts, is a Bulldog Democrat. The Bulldog Democrats is an alumni, faculty, and friends association designed to build connections. If it was not for the great support of our Bulldog Democrats, the CDS would not be the society it is today.
